The meaning of oil temperature machine and water temperature machine

The function of a mold temperature machine is to heat or cool the mold, maintain its working temperature, ensure stable quality of injection molded parts, and optimize processing time. The mold temperature machine is divided into water temperature machine and oil temperature machine. In the injection molding industry, the temperature of the mold plays a decisive role in the quality and injection time of injection molded parts.

1、 Oil temperature machine

Oil temperature machine is a mold temperature machine that uses heat transfer oil as the heat transfer medium. The oil temperature machine itself has a storage tank. During operation, thermal oil enters the system through a storage tank and enters the mold or other equipment that requires temperature control through a circulating pump. After the heat transfer oil comes out of the controlled temperature device, it returns to the system and continues continuously. The heat transfer oil is heated by a heater. When the temperature sensor detects that the media temperature reaches the set value, the heater stops working. When the temperature drops below the set value, the heater starts working, and when the temperature reaches the set value, it stops working. This cycle.

Heat transfer oil has a high boiling point and can be used for temperatures above 350 ℃ or even higher. However, the heat transfer coefficient of heat transfer oil is only 1/3 of that of water, so oil temperature machines are not widely used in injection molding compared to water temperature machines. 2、 Water temperature machine

A water temperature machine is a mold temperature machine that uses hot water as the heat transfer medium, commonly known as a water transport mold temperature machine, a water circulation temperature control machine, a water heater, or a hot water heater.

The water temperature machine usually has a large outlet temperature of 98 ℃. Usually, mold temperature machines with temperatures below 98 ℃ use water temperature machines, which are characterized by simple design, economical price, and environmental protection. On the basis of this machine, a high-temperature water temperature machine has been derived, which allows an outlet temperature of 180 ℃. Due to the fact that the thermal conductivity of water is much higher than that of oil at the same temperature when the temperature is above 98 ℃, this machine has outstanding high-temperature working ability.
